Food intolerance and Food allergy

A food allergy causes an immune system reaction that affects various organs in the body but in case of food intolerance, it does not produce an allergic reaction and is not involved with the immune system. If you have a food intolerance, you may be able to eat partial amounts of the offending food without trouble. Food allergies especially Peanut allergy is on the rise, worldwide. Most of the pre- school children now suffer from various food allergies. Almost 60% of allergies appear during the early years of a child’s life.
