Biography
Prof Fatemeh Rabiee is a professor in Public Health Promotion and a registered Public Health Nutritionist with extensive experience of teaching, research, research supervision in UK, Netherlands & countries of economic transition. She has initiated, designed, managed and implemented a number of applied research projects in the broad area of health and social care. Currently she is working as a Project Lead on the Make it Count Project which deals with Retrospective analysis of the effectiveness of the Childhood obesity intervention programme in Walsall, West Midlands. She is an Editorial Board Member of Leading Journals like International Journal of Food, Nutrition and Public Health, Egyptian Journal of Cardiovascular disease, Iranian journal of Health Promotion Perspective (HPP), Athens Journal of Health etc. Active member of Nutrition Society in UK and contributes regularly to professional development programmes of the Nutrition Society. Dr. Rabiee was nominated twice for Extra Miles Award as an inspiring teacher during the last two academic years.
